Neil Inglis, TURP, CHMM Manager, Environmental Health & Safety

Neil Inglis has been the EHS Manager at Goldman Environmental Consultants, Inc. for 14 years. His primary focus is environmental regulatory compliance including air quality, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and stormwater pollution prevention. He is also experienced in due diligence auditing, compliance reporting, and safety programs, and has managed multiple MCP projects for the waste site group involving soil and groundwater contamination and remediation, underground tank investigations and removals, vapor intrusion mitigation and more.

Neil studied chemical engineering at the University of New Hampshire, and started his career in manufacturing. He is a Certified General Toxics Use Reduction Planner in Massachusetts and also a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.

His manufacturing experience included production, quality control and facilities engineering and maintenance, including addressing leaky underground tanks. Neil eventually became a full-time environmental consultant to many companies rather than an in-house consultant to one company; he enjoys the variety that environmental consulting provides, and says no projects are exactly the same.

He has served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Chemistry & Technology Alliance and sits on the Government Affairs Committee for the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the New England Association of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers, and the Association of Hazardous Materials Professionals, and has been a long-time member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
